Who is West Metro Select?

We Offer high level Teams and Camps open to all players from any Club affiliation.

Our teams play against the best clubs and players in the state, region and nationally in qualifying tournaments, international and national cups, and college showcases. Seven high level tournaments are selected to challenge players to elevate their game.

Training, friendlies, games, tournaments are from November through July

Our program has proven success and growth in just 3 years! Some of our highlights include USA Target Cup Championship, 6 Tournament Championships, 3 Championship Finalist, and triumphs over notable clubs including Chicago Inter, TFE Tonka Fusion Elite, TC RUSH, St Paul Blackhawks, Fusion, Winona Euro, and FC Stars.

• High level Soccer, Life Balance
  We support talented soccer players interested in other activities and sports, including 2nd sports like Hockey, Lacrosse, Tennis, and Track. We believe it is important for players to have the best, all-around teenage experience. Players can be committed to the West Metro Select Team Family and still have fun enjoying other interests and activities!
  
  
• Balance is important for Players' to stay healthy physically and mentally. Maintaining mental sharpness and a healthy body to prevent injuries and major injuries is vital to success. Young athletes are faced now more than ever with the stresses of technology, society, and then loaded on top of it with pressure from sports and activities. Balance over of course of a long year helps to alleviate this so a player can have full enjoyment of life and sports together.
  
  
• High level team training and year round development camps are available. These include Skills; Speed, Agility, & Strength; Shooting & Finishing, and other specialized camps offered from October to July. 
  
  
• Highest Level Coaching in the Area
  Our coaches are licensed, former MLS, Professional Players. All Teams have 3 professional Coaches, including License B and License C. Players are taught the game of soccer from multiple Coaches to get the most well rounded soccer education, tactical, skills training, and overall advancement to grow and prepare for the next level. Pablo Campos, former MLS Champion with a License B, is our Director of Coaching.
  
  
• Being a well-rounded player and person is important and the top priority at West Metro Select. We teach being a good citizen on the field and off the field. This includes being successful on the field as well in the classroom. We instill respect for the game, opponents, fans, parents, and coaches. 
  
  
• We are small, personable, and specialized, but have big club access and opportunities due to our affiliation with RUSH, including TC RUSH Regional Select. Our small environment allows us the opportunity to be like a family. Our program structure allows us to adjust and adapt to what is needed for each individual and each team for overall development. Not all players are the same and not all teams are the same physically and mentally. Teaching and coaching happens on and off the field. We can do this because we are a small Club & Family. 
  
  
• Accessibility to Tools to Help Players and Parents
  We offer a College Advisory Program, sports psychologist, nutrition and fitness trainer in order to provide athletes access and opportunities, and regional and national team placement opportunities.
